PARADISE PASTURES

These birds we’re roasting on Sunday are pono pono pono! Hatched and raised specifically for our supper club. I picked them up TODAY from Carol @ Paradise Pastures in Honoka'a. This farm is absolutely magical! Paradise Pastures also sells chicken eggs, duck and duck eggs, turkey, tropical fruit, and artisanal popsicles.

Would you like to take a bird home to roast / broil / BBQ later? Processed and ready to cook, a fair price for humanely raised, delicious Red Ranger breed chickens. $40/bird (roughly 5.25 lbs each)

TASTE OF PUNA, FRIDAY, MAY 17

Hola Aloha Supper Club is joining forces with nearly a dozen Puna-based farms and chefs, as well as local homesteaders and home cooks, to produce an event aimed at highlighting the incredible culinary offerings available right here in Puna District on the Big Island.

Our objective is to connect producers of local veggies, fruits, meat, eggs, dairy, and fish, with locally-based private cooks, restaurateurs, grocers, and residents. Additional info will be sent out soon. In the meantime, SAVE THE DATE! Friday, May 17, tentatively 5:30PM through 8:00PM at the Pahoa Community Center. Tickets will be about $50.

Several tickets will be available complimentary for those who have been most severely impacted by Tutu Pele. Send a message to supper@holaaloha.club inquire about these complimentary Hi’iaka tickets.
